Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a CAAS Projects Advisory Manager to lead interim and fractional accounting engagements for growing organizations. You will guide clients through growth, leadership transitions, and operational improvements, delivering pragmatic accounting solutions and measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CFOs and senior stakeholders, mentoring juniors, and balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience; relevant experience will be considered.
• Prior public accounting audit experience.
• Experience in CAAS/CAS or similar leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations, reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lead multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-based accounting and finance engagements, including interim Controller support and system transitions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating growth, leadership changes, and operational changes.
• Develop practical plans addressing immediate needs while strengthening longer-term operations.
• Provide accounting leadership at Controller/Assistant Controller levels when required.
• Manage engagement economics, budgets, billing, and scope management.
