Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a CAAS Projects Advisory Senior to solve accounting and finance challenges through hands-on, project-based work. You will lead key workstreams, interact directly with customer teams, and deliver practical solutions that strengthen accounting operations and support business needs.

Working with Managers and Directors, you will build advisory skills, coach associates, and advance toward a CAAS advisory leadership track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license.
• Typically 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting audit plus CAAS/advisory experience also considered.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with engagement teams; communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute project-based accounting and finance engagements, including cash-to-accrual conversions, remediation, month-end close support, and ERP transitions.
• Support interim Controller engagements by assisting with close, reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting priorities.
• Own significant workstreams with limited supervision, including planning, information gathering, issue resolution, and progress communication.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, financial schedules, and process documentation.
• Investigate accounting issues, identify root causes, and deliver practical solutions for client needs.
• Collaborate with Controllers and client stakeholders; participate in meetings and present work product.
