Qualifications

• Experience handling California workers' compensation liens.
• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage litigation-related activities.
• HS diploma required; further degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of post-settlement California workers' compensation claims.
• Process medical bills, legal updates, and claim-related workflow within deadlines.
• Resolve EDI, ISO, reserve, and other claim alerts.
• Coordinate coverage for lien hearings and legal proceedings.
• Negotiate and resolve medical liens with providers and lien claimants.
• Partner with defense counsel to develop lien resolution strategies.
• Evaluate lien matters and recommend settlement or litigation approaches.
• Track lien savings and report results to Claims leadership.
• Identify trends and suggest process improvements.
