Movora is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner to join our Supply Chain and Operations team in Whippany, New Jersey. This position plays an important role in the final stages of the product lifecycle, from placing and managing supplier purchase orders through coordinating production activities that bring materials to a ship ready state.
This is a hands on role for someone who is comfortable working across both purchasing and production planning. You will build and maintain production schedules, manage purchase orders based on MRP requirements, monitor inventory needs, and serve as a key connection between Sales, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and our suppliers.
This position is primarily based on site at our Whippany facility and includes regular interaction with the manufacturing floor. Occasional travel to supplier or vendor locations may be required, up to approximately 10 percent annually.
