New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in New York, NY. The role focuses on the Salesforce-based Housing Search platform, guiding its evolution from initial implementation to ongoing maintenance.

You will partner with ITS, program teams, and external stakeholders to keep housing access equitable and efficient. The role requires strong analytics, governance, and product-management capabilities, with a path for growth in a mission-driven state

Qualifications

• Interest in improving access to affordable housing.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years of related experience.
• Agile development knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between mission and digital tools for the Housing Search platform.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for Housing Search features.
• Own and manage the product backlog and prioritize enhancements.
• Translate housing program rules into actionable user stories.
• Define, track, and report key product metrics like completion rates and waitlists.
• Collaborate with IT, marketing, compliance, and partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and maintain product documentation.
