Job summary

State of Indiana seeks a Business Analyst to support business analysis, data governance, reporting, documentation, and project coordination in a hybrid role between business and technical teams. You will define requirements, improve data processes, and support healthcare and grant-funded initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of Business Analyst and/or Project Management experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively work between business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting grant-funded programs and maintaining project documentation.
• Must be local to Indiana and able to work in a hybrid environment in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Support project planning, work tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Assist with data mapping, metadata, lineage, data definitions, ownership, and quality activities.
• Maintain project records, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables.
• Prepare status reports and governance updates.
• Facilitate requirements meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Identify risks and support issue resolution and project implementation.
• Support data, analytics, reporting, and grant-funded initiatives.
