Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Building Systems Analysts II for direct hire to support commissioning and retro-commissioning on healthcare, education, and commercial projects across multiple U.S. regions.

The role requires BS in Engineering/Construction Management or related field and 5+ years in BAS/HVAC controls, with travel 30–50%. Hybrid work setup, with travel between regional offices and sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience with BAS and HVAC controls.
Experience supporting commercial MEP construction projects.
Experience evaluating, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing building systems.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, verify, and optimize HVAC and BAS in new and existing facilities.
Perform site assessments, field investigations, and due diligence.
Identify opportunities to improve building performance and develop energy measures.
Troubleshoot BAS programming and HVAC controls.
Perform retro- and new construction commissioning activities.
Prepare technical reports and commissioning documentation.
Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple disciplines.
