SMBC Group in the Americas seeks a driven Vice President to join the Office of the CRO in the Americas Division Risk. You will oversee budget governance, financial planning, and expense oversight for a 500+ staff function in a hybrid Charlotte, NC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including budget management.
• Strong analytical and data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Japanese language skills preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Budget Planning: consolidate budget requirements and develop annual/multi-year plans.
• Expense Management: track actuals, perform variance analysis, ensure policy adherence.
• Reporting & Senior Management Support: brief CRO and senior stakeholders with insights.
• Budget Governance & Process Improvement: strengthen governance, automate and improve reporting.
• Strategic Planning & Executive Support: assist with annual planning and executive materials.
