Job summary

Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC is seeking a Broker Developer to join our Brooklyn-based team. The candidate will support full lifecycle application development across IBM middleware platforms, building and maintaining systems for a state agency to deliver timely citizen services.

Responsibilities include designing and testing integrations with IIB/ACE, DataPower, and MQ; creating WSDL/JSON, and developing SOAP/HTTP web services. Strong SDLC leadership and Java/JEE experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in SDLC with middleware technologies.
• 4+ years leading teams in large application environments.
• 4+ years Java/JEE development and integration experience.
• Experience with MQ, SSL certificates, and IBM middleware stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy IBM middleware integrations.
• Build APIs and data exchanges between systems (XML/JSON/WS).
• Create message flows and web services to support SOA-based services.
• Troubleshoot and deploy integrations; ensure reliability and performance.
• Work with MQ Nodes, DataPower, ACE/IIB for ETL and messaging workflows.
