Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Java Developer for a hybrid role in Newark, DE on a 12+ month contract. The candidate will work with Business and System Analyst teams to translate requirements into designs and implement applications per standard patterns, including unit testing and deployment packaging.

Responsibilities include collaborating with QA and product certification teams, and applying expertise in Spring Boot, Core Java, and J2EE technologies alongside .NET and frontend skills as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and Core Java for J2EE applications (JSP/Servlets).
• Proficiency with IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• Experience deploying J2EE apps on WebSphere, Tomcat, or Apache.
• Exposure to WebApi and .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core; WCF).
• Strong object‑oriented programming skills and web tech (HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, Bootstrap).
• Familiar with frontend frameworks (Handlebars, AngularJS, or React) and databases (Oracle, T‑SQL).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self‑motivated with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business and System Analyst teams to understand requirements.
• Translate requirements into low‑level design and implement code.
• Unit test and package code for deployment to higher environments up to Production.
• Support QA and product certification teams with fixes and validation.
