Our Client, a highly respected national labor and employment law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Employment Litigation practice in Boston. You will handle sophisticated disputes, draft pleadings, and interact with employers on complex workplace matters in a hybrid Boston office.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and Massachusetts Bar admission.
• 3–7 years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling employment disputes including discrimination, harassment, termination, wage and hour claims.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• Taking and defending depositions; appearances in state, federal courts and arbitration.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience advising management on employment matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitration.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with trial and hearing preparation.
• Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Advise employers on employment law compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on complex matters.
• Manage case files and litigation deadlines from inception through resolution.
