Our Client, a national labor and employment law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Employment Litigation group in Boston. Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing.
• 3–7 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling employment-related disputes (discrimination, harassment, termination, wage/hour).
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience in state and federal courts and arbitration.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience counseling management on employment matters (preferred).
• Large law firm or employment boutique experience preferred.
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in employment litigation in state and federal courts, admin proceedings, and arbitration.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with trial prep.
• Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Advise employers on employment law compliance and workplace risk management.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's labor and employment practice on complex matters.
• Manage case files and litigation deadlines from inception through resolution.
