Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors is seeking a Bookkeeping Supervisor to lead a small team and ensure accurate, timely financial records for multiple clients. You will supervise quarterly reviews, drive team performance, and maintain client satisfaction in a hybrid work setting.

The role emphasizes KPI tracking, process improvements, and close collaboration with clients while performing supervisory duties and advancing procedures within the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Moderate knowledge of Excel.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts at one time.
• CPA firm experience preferred.
• Experience with AR accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review the work of bookkeepers on a quarterly basis.
• Oversee and review the work of multiple bookkeepers to ensure accuracy.
• Provide leadership to the team and monitor KPIs.
• Communicate with escalated clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Maintain a small client list and deliver high-quality bookkeeping services.
• Learn and implement new processes to improve efficiency.
• Perform administrative tasks and support management as needed.
