Job summary

Migis Hotel Group in Portland, ME is seeking a capable bookkeeper to join our Corporate Office team. You will support multiple client properties with accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and clear communication across departments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency with M3 Accounting Core and QuickBooks. An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping/financial recordkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP; familiarity with USALI is a plus.
• Experience with M3 Accounting Core and QuickBooks.
• Proficiency with Excel and general office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping operations for assigned properties using M3 and/or QuickBooks.
• Prepare, record, and verify journal entries with proper debits/credits.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
• Review accounts payable entries for accuracy and budgeting alignment.
• Maintain month-end close processes and produce timely financial reports.
