Job summary

WK Industrial Services Corp seeks a Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant in Alpharetta, GA to support the Financial Manager with detailed bookkeeping, payroll for a multi-state construction business, and accurate financial records. You will prepare invoices and job costing, generate reports for management, and assist with month-end close.

Responsibilities include AP, ledger entries, tax filings, and payroll processing while maintaining precise records.

Qualifications

• 5+ experience in Accounting
• Proficiency in payroll processing and tax regulations
• Technical accounting skills, including the ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Process accounts payable transactions
• Prepare customer invoices and job costing
• Generate financial reports for management review
• Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries and account reconciliations
• Research and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis
• Assist with month end closing
• Assist with multi-state payroll and tax filings
• Perform other duties as assigned
