As a Bookkeeper, you'll:

• Manage bookkeeping activities for a segment of our client base, working collaboratively with the team.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of applicable balance sheet accounts.
• Enter bank deposits, checks, bills, vendor payments, journal entries, etc.
• Submit payroll, perform payroll entries and payroll accruals.
• Reconcile vendor statements, and manage vendor balances.
• Interact regularly with clients to obtain necessary information and source documents.
• Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet to identify and correct issues.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in overseeing the work of Jr. Bookkeepers to ensure quality service for our clients.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 3+ years of bookkeeping experience working across multiple clients.
• Has 3+ years of experience with accrual basis bookkeeping.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is highly preferred but not required.
• Can spot mistakes from Jr. Bookkeepers and coach them accordingly.
• Is detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and a problem-solver.
• Is a self-starter, eager to learn and adapt quickly.
• Is highly organized to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Upholds high standards of ethics and integrity.
• Is tech-savvy with excellent communication skills.
• Is flexible and adaptable to client needs and company approaches.

Experience:

• Associates Degree or equivalent professional certification required.
• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• 3+ years managing multiple clients.
• 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
