Positions Purpose

In this role, you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group responsible for all statutory financial reporting, including:

1. Completing quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements. Entities cover various combinations of members across single and/or multiple states and lines of business such as Marketplace (ACA), Medicare, and Medicaid.
2. Preparing supplemental pages and schedules, coordinating data collection from internal partners for quarterly and annual submissions.
3. Working closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete annual legal entity external audits.
4. Preparing MD&A’s including year-over-year variance analysis reporting.
5. Generating and recording statutory entries to the general ledger for assigned entities, with potential for additional consolidated entries.
6. Assisting with DOI examinations as needed, including draft responses to inquiries.
7. Supporting department projects, including continuous process improvements.
8. Developing positive relationships with team managers and staff, supporting various business partners such as Treasury, Tax, and GAAP reporting.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or the healthcare industry.
• Statutory accounting/reporting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills are preferred.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on skills, experience, education, and other factors. Total compensation may include additional incentives.
