Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster specialist to manage attorney-represented bodily injury claims. The role requires independent work, liability assessment, and collaboration with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims.

A hybrid work model is offered with optional in-office days for meetings and training. The position covers offices in WA with available locations including Federal Way, Everett, and Spokane Valley.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys.
• Settle claims and set reserves.
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents.
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution.
• Interview, collect and document information from claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police.
