Progressive is seeking a hybrid Claims Adjuster Specialist in Washington state. You will manage attorney-represented bodily injury claims, assess liability and coverage, and work with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims.

The role involves reporting to an office about four days per month for meetings and training. The position requires the ability to work independently, handle an inventory, and engage with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling.
• Requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys.
• Settle claims and set reserves.
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents.
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution.
• Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police.
