Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a BMS Controls Engineer / IoT Operations SME to ensure reliable operation, optimization, and security of digital building platforms across the portfolio. The role covers HVAC, lighting, and IT infrastructure with a hybrid work model (3 days on-site / 2 days remote).

The candidate will lead regional transitions to cloud-connected smart buildings, define governance, enforce BOS/BACnet standards, and drive energy efficiency while maintaining occupant comfort

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BAS/BMS, smart buildings, or IoT operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with BOS standards and cybersecurity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional transition of building portfolios to cloud-connected smart buildings.
• Define standards, governance, and technology roadmaps; align site teams.
• Enforce BOS and BACnet standards; support OT networks and cyber security.
