Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a BMS Engineer to design, configure, and support Building Management System solutions for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will work with Johnson Controls and Rockwell Automation platforms to optimize HVAC controls and building systems.

You will develop Sequences of Operation, create system documentation, and collaborate with engineering, facilities, validation, and operations teams to ensure compliant, reliable performance of AHUs, FCUs, and other critical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with BMS/BAS in regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with Johnson Controls and Rockwell Automation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems (AHUs, FCUs).
• Experience developing Sequences of Operation (SOOs).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support BMS solutions for pharmaceutical facilities.
• Develop, review, and maintain Sequences of Operation (SOOs) for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Johnson Controls and Rockwell Automation control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, facilities, validation, and operations teams to ensure system performance and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building automation, HVAC controls, and facility systems.
• Support commissioning, qualification, testing, and system startup activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, control narratives, and operating procedures.
• Ensure control strategies align with industry regulations and site operational requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and other critical HVAC systems.
