Job summary

Strive Pharmacy is seeking an Automation Engineer (BMS) to design, program, and maintain the Building Management and Environmental Monitoring systems in a GMP pharmaceutical facility. You will ensure HVAC, cleanrooms, and utility plants stay in a validated state under 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11, while coordinating with vendors (Siemens, Honeywell, JCI, Schneider).

Role requires 3–5+ years in GMP automation, expertise with BMS platforms, and strong electrical schematic skills.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in Automation or Controls Engineering in a GMP pharma/biotech environment.
Expertise with major BMS platforms and HVAC sequences for ISO-classified cleanrooms.
Proficiency with BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks communication protocols.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs; experience with change control in quality settings.

Responsibilities

Design, program, and commission PLC, DDC, and SCADA logic for facility utilities.
Maintain BMS/EMS architecture and real-time visualization for facilities teams.
Ensure GMP compliance, data integrity, and 21 CFR Part 11 validation alignment.
Provide Tier 2/3 support and manage automation vendors during service visits.
