Westat, Inc. is seeking a Senior Statistical Associate - Biostatistician to support analyses on clinical trials, epidemiologic studies, and administrative datasets.

You will collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and teams to design studies, analyze data, and contribute to publications. You will work on Bayesian adaptive designs, SMART approaches, and develop analysis plans while guiding data management and ensuring robust, well-documented results.

Qualificações

• PhD in Biostatistics or related field with 2–4 years post-doctoral experience including clinical trials.
• Experience in health research and advanced data analysis using statistical packages.
• Experience with R, SAS and other statistical software.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate on study protocols and select trial designs with Bayesian emphasis.
• Develop study aims, hypotheses, and assess feasibility.
• Estimate sample sizes for adequate power within resource limits.
• Develop statistical considerations and analysis methods for protocols.
• Create analysis plans and guide data management and timelines.
• Perform analytical programming, data management, quality control and reporting.
• Analyze clinical trials and epidemiologic data; present results and interpret data.
• Explore methods to validate and troubleshoot results.
• Participate in QA processes and review outputs like tables and charts.
• Present analytic results to diverse audiences with context and literature.
