Qualifications

• Two years of legal billing or eBilling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with electronic billing systems and Aderant Expert.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with legal billing and accounting software.
• Familiarity with Iridium and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and document client Outside Counsel Guidelines and billing requirements.
• Ensure billing compliance within firm financial systems and guidelines.
• Advise on revisions to engagement letters and client intake on billing needs.
• Maintain matter-level billing instructions and documentation aligned to client requirements.
• Onboard new eBilled clients and migrations to eBilling platforms.
• Coordinate onboarding with billing, eBilling and Client Arrangements teams.
• Review vendor invoices, ensure correct fees, monitor payments.
• Analyze guidelines to configure billing information and master specs.
• Evaluate current processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate to implement standard operating procedures in the department.
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and milestones.
• Address billing compliance questions from practice groups and clients.
• Provide coverage for team members and assist with special projects.
