KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a leading SaaS client in Boston, MA to hire a Billing Analyst for a hybrid contract position paying $29-$33/hr.

The role covers full billing lifecycle, month-end close support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate cash flow and revenue recognition. A 3+ year background in AR/billing within SaaS or tech is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable/billing experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong understanding of the full billing cycle, including subscription billing and contract terms.
• Experience with marketplace billing and third-party invoicing platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and payment processing across direct and reseller accounts.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations, journal entries, billing reports, and audit documentation while maintaining revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and ensure compliance with booking policies.
• Identify process improvements and help strengthen billing procedures and internal controls.
