Job summary

Inland Respite in Corona, CA, is hiring a Care Coordinator who will be the primary liaison for families and respite providers. The role involves managing schedules, verifying documentation, and ensuring consistent service engagement with accurate timekeeping and utilization monitoring.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, maintain HIPAA compliance, and handle sensitive information with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Human Services or related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Familiar with HIPAA and handling confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, cloud-based platforms, and EHR systems.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for families and Respite Care Providers, handling inquiries and scheduling.
• Ensure documentation compliance (IPPs, Parent Packets, Conditions of Employment, EVV signatures).
• Review timecard entries for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze timecard data for consistency across records.
• Coordinate filling open shifts and track provider availability.
• Escalate staffing shortages to senior leadership as needed.
• Monitor service utilization and address under-utilization or overages.
• Assist EVV Clerk to maintain electronic visit records.
• Log Special Incident Reports and coordinate follow-up.
• Manage client terminations and replacements as needed.
• Maintain communication with Regional Center CSCs for continuity.
• Update scheduling systems and shift logs in databases.
• Educate families on system use and service expectations.
