Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Officer for a 6 month contract in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The role focuses on data analysis, KPI reporting, and performance monitoring within Parking Services.

You will develop dashboards, support budget forecasting, and influence decision-makers with clear data insights. Hybrid working is offered, with bi-weekly pay and a contract-driven engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Performance, or Insight role.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Reports.
• KPI frameworks.
• Ability to interpret large datasets and present findings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in monitoring performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Experience in supporting contract performance monitoring.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with databases, management systems, and reporting tools.
• Experience in Parking Services / Transport / Local Government / Enforcement Services.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Experience in financial forecasting and budget monitoring.
• Understanding of parking enforcement processes and decriminalised enforcement services.
• Experience in producing management information for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, analyse, and interpret data related to parking enforcement, traffic patterns, and service performance.
• Detect trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
• Convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Present findings to managers and stakeholders.
• Support strategic decision-making through data-driven intelligence.
• Establish and maintain reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards.
• Track CPIs and assess performance against SLAs.
• Identify performance issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with budget planning and financial reconciliation.
• Develop self-service reporting tools using Excel and other technologies.
