Qualifications

• Candidates must qualify as a Behavioral Health Technician by meeting at least one of the listed requirements.
• At least two years of behavioral health experience is preferred.
• A combination of education and training may substitute for experience where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Build professional and supportive relationships with clients and coordinate services.
• Identify client needs, strengths, goals, and resources.
• Coordinate behavioral health, physical health, and community-based services.
• Connect clients with housing, transportation, healthcare, benefits, education, employment, and other resources.
• Complete initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling and care management interventions.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record.
• Maintain professional boundaries and HIPAA compliance.
