Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living, a national behavioral health provider, seeks a professional to implement individualized Behavior Support Plans under BCBA supervision. You will teach and reinforce communication, social, daily living and other adaptive skills using evidence-based practices.

De-escalation techniques will be applied per protocol to manage challenging behaviors safely, with accurate data recording and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BACB Registered Behavior Technician as required.
• Experience in high acuity environments with intense behaviors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Accurately record and report data on client behavior, skill acquisition, and intervention outcomes.
• Teach and reinforce communication, social, daily living, and other adaptive skills using evidence-based practices.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and follow protocols to manage challenging behaviors safely.
• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Assist with resident abuse and neglect assessment issues and communicate findings with leadership.
