Anova Education seeks a Behavior Specialist to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in home and community settings in Delaware County, PA. The role is a per-diem position with a clear path to full-time as caseload grows, with hybrid work including remote days and in-person visits.

Responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, designing Behavior Support Plans, training caregivers, and tracking data to evolve plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working directly with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism.
• Ability to travel in and around Delaware County, PA for daytime visits.
• Educational options: Master’s degree or PA Behavior Specialist license or Bachelor's with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Plan Design: Conduct FBAs and craft Behavior Support Plans and Crisis Intervention Plans.
• Team Collaboration & Education: Work with families, Supports Coordinators, and care teams to train and align on plans.
• Direct Coaching & Implementation: Teach skills and coach supporters in homes and communities.
• Data Tracking & Plan Evolution: Collect and evaluate data and update plans as needs change.
• Advocacy & Human Rights: Create fading plans for restrictive interventions and present to Human Rights Committees.

Education

Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, ABA, or Gerontology

PA Behavior Specialist License

Bachelor's degree with supervision
