Job summary

Guiding Stars ABA in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a BCBA Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight across our growing team. You will mentor BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and BTs, supervise assessments and treatment plans, and help maintain high-quality ABA services in a family-centered program.

Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Virginia licensure or eligibility to meet Virginia requirements.
• Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Experience supervising and mentoring BCaBAs, RBTs, and BTs.
• Knowledge of payer requirements and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and support to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and BTs.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide performance feedback to clinical staff.
• Conduct and/or review assessments, treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and reassessments.
• Maintain a manageable clinical caseload based on supervisory and organizational needs.
• Monitor client progress, treatment integrity, and clinical outcomes.
• Provide guidance and consultation on cases.
• Review clinical documentation for quality, accuracy, and medical necessity.
• Support staff onboarding, training, competency development, and ongoing professional growth.
• Promote compliance with BACB ethical standards, HIPAA, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with families, clinicians, schools, and other providers as appropriate.
• Partner with leadership on clinical quality improvement and program development.
