Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of technical work experience.
• 2+ years in a DSE/lead engineer role or similar.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and DVP&R development and execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, self-starter with strong independent leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the battery/battery system requirements document, testing plans, and validation activities.
• Lead cross-functional teams and battery technical experts across V&Powertrain, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and EE Systems.
• Coordinate design reviews, capture minutes and action items, and ensure closure.
• Manage DVP&R planning, evidence collection, and deviation approvals.
• Co-lead Hybrid Battery Pack projects with HW/SW Design and Controls engineers.
• Lead supplier technical reviews and packaging studies with Vehicle/Powertrain teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reductions, and vehicle launch support.
