Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks an experienced Battery Assistant Chief Engineer (ACE) to own battery program objectives, define and track technical deliverables, and serve as the primary technical interface across vehicle, powertrain, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

The ACE leads cross-functional teams, coordinates design reviews, and drives issues to closure with strong leadership and communication skills. Hybrid battery programs are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of technical work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a DSE role or lead engineer.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and DVP&R development and execution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong independent leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead Hybrid Battery Pack Projects with HW/SW Design Responsible Engineers and controls Features Engineers.
• Plan prototype builds, bench/HIL tests, and manage issue resolution.
• Attend design reviews, record actions, and ensure closure.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure robust designs and manufacturability.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reductions, and vehicle program launches.
• Lead coordination with Vehicle/Powertrain Team on packaging studies.
• Organize supplier technical reviews and validate DVP&R documentation.
