Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in estimating, engineering or construction management, or 5–7 years in controls field experience.
• Experience with Building Automation or HVAC controls is preferred.
• Familiarity with interpreting plans, details and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates including materials, sub-contractors, equipment, labor and related activities.
• Develop detailed scope from design-build plans and bid-ready specs.
• Take-off and price purchased equipment ensuring correct quantities and specs.
• Lead pre-bid meetings to review scope and strategy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage cost variations across projects.
