Job summary

Arohana Tech Solutions Private Limited, in collaboration with Agentic AI Foundry, seeks an AI Engineer to join a hybrid team in the USA. You will build scalable backend services with Node.js and develop REST APIs while integrating AI services and tools.

Ideal candidates have hands-on backend experience and familiarity with Angular or modern frontend frameworks, plus knowledge of authentication, databases, and CI/CD practices. This role emphasizes collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience with Node.js, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of API authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases; Git workflows.
• Familiarity with Angular or modern frontend frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Integrate internal and external applications through APIs and web services.
• Design clean, reusable backend components.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Implement authentication, authorization, logging, error handling, and API security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers using Angular or similar frameworks.
• Integrate applications with LLM and generative AI APIs.
• Assist with RAG-based applications using enterprise data and documents.
• Work with MCP servers, tools, or integrations.
• Support development of AI agents and agent-based workflows.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application, API, and integration issues.
• Participate in deployment and CI/CD processes.
