Job summary

RareMed Solutions is seeking a Data & Analytics Engineering Lead in Coraopolis, PA to design, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure, pipelines, and analytics reports.

You will mentor the data team, partner with pharmacists and business stakeholders, and drive governance, security, and innovative data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI.

This hybrid role requires 5+ years in data engineering and a strong background in Azure and reporting.

Qualifications

• Education background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Analytics.
• 5+ years experience in data engineering with Azure and Power BI.
• Strong SQL and database management knowledge.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL, data warehousing.
• Familiarity with Python, Scala, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Oversee data storage solutions (data lakes/warehouses) for accessibility and security.
• Create and deliver data files using pipelines and triggers.
• Develop Power BI reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, business stakeholders, and leadership to meet data needs.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines and storage performance.
• Implement data governance and quality controls.
• Mentor junior data engineers and analysts.
• Stay updated on Azure, data engineering trends and apply innovations.
