Job summary

Conexus is seeking a Cloud Engineer with 8+ years of Microsoft/Azure experience to lead greenfield projects and scale enterprise infrastructure.

This hybrid role requires onsite 3-4 days a week in El Segundo or Century City, with hands-on IaC, automation, AI tooling, and strong networking and security skills.

You will collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure scalable, compliant cloud services and guide modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT/cloud infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on design, build and management of Azure infrastructure for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, networking and data platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, production support, and greenfield projects.
• Ability to evaluate and deploy AI tools for IT operations and automate onboarding, provisioning, and compliance workflows.
• Strong networking, security, and endpoint management capabilities, with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable Azure infrastructure.
• Own multi-site networking, security controls, MFA, DLP, and endpoint compliance.
• Lead technical initiatives, drive AI adoption, and modernize cloud capabilities.
• Provision and secure resources for data and analytics workloads; establish standards.
