Lyntris is seeking a Systems Engineer to stand up and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting PLM software for DoD customers. The role emphasizes security, performance, and automation in both production and non-production environments.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of AWS experience on RedHat Linux and Windows, strong Ansible skills, and active Security+ with AWS certifications. Hybrid onsite in St. Paul, MN, with potential travel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Plan, implement, and refine cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) with performance and cost considerations.
• Automate workloads with Ansible playbooks and secure applications with PKI and TLS/SSL management.
• Administer RDS databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL) and optimize performance.
• Install and upgrade PLM application software; apply patches and fix security vulnerabilities.
• Support rehosts/data refreshes in non-production environments as needed.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure performance.
• Document infrastructure and maintain certifications in PLM, Cloud, and security platforms.
• Travel as needed and work in a hybrid/on-site environment.
