Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer to support testing and verification of embedded avionics for military programs. The role involves requirements testing, integration testing, and data validation in a hybrid lab in Clearwater, FL.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in avionics or embedded systems, experience with ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. This is a long-term W2 contract with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Systems or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years in avionics, aerospace, or embedded systems engineering.
• Experience with avionics interface design, requirements testing, data validation and PR investigations.
• Knowledge of ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553 avionics networks.
• Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance (not required to hold it initially).

• Support testing and verification of embedded avionics systems for military programs.
• Perform requirements, integration, and hardware/software testing activities.
• Investigate Problem Reports and validate data in aerospace context.
