MSX International is seeking an Automotive Technical Consultant in Los Angeles to partner with dealership service departments, applying advanced diagnostic skills to resolve complex vehicle issues and improve first-time fix rates. You will provide remote and on-site technical support, lead discussions with dealership staff, and support recall campaigns and RSUs while upholding quality and compliance.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel locally within an assigned territory.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Shop Foreman/Leader experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing repair data and documenting technical cases.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve complex vehicle technical concerns and escalations.
• Provide technical assistance both remotely and on-site at dealerships.
• Lead technical discussions as a subject matter expert.
• Support recall campaigns and RSUs.
• Review repair orders and recommend best practices for quality and compliance.
• Analyze repair trends and identify opportunities to improve first-time fix rates.
• Collaborate with dealership personnel to improve customer satisfaction and service performance.
• Document case updates, findings, and recommendations using Microsoft Office tools.
