Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. seeks a CAD Designer/ Drafter to support engineers, sales, and project managers by producing detailed drawings and control panel packages using AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, MicroStation and EPlan.

The role emphasizes accuracy, coordination with team members, and adherence to drafting standards. The position includes floor plans, panel layouts, system diagrams, BOMs and IO tables, with documentation control across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in computer aided drafting or drafting technology with relevant experience.
• Minimum of two years of CAD drafting experience, or five years of equivalent experience and training.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical; familiarity with MicroStation and EPlan a plus.
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques and electrical design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate detail drawing packages from rough drafts and notes.
• Create floor plans, panel layouts and system diagrams using CAD tools.
• Develop complete drawing packages and manage revision tracking and file storage.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and vendors to ensure design readiness.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
