Job summary

DMC Engineering in Chicago is seeking an AutoCAD Electrical Drafter to create detailed technical drawings under the Electrical Engineering team's guidance.

You will update drawings per markups, support panel building and on-site commissioning, and work with various standards and equipment on a project-by-project basis. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial control panels and drafting standards a must.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify industrial control panel drawings in AutoCAD Electrical under the Electrical Engineering team guidance.
• Update drawings per markups during the project lifecycle.
• Support panel building and on-site commissioning activities.
• Work to a variety of standards, equipment, and components on a project-by-project basis.
• Assist in the creation, testing, and maintenance of automated drafting and design tools in AutoCAD Electrical.
