Job summary

Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafting professional to support engineers, sales and project managers.

You will prepare detailed drawing packages, electrical schematics, and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical, MicroStation and EPlan. Expect to manage revisions and organize project files on shared drives. The role requires a two-year CAD/drafting degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Excel/Word/Outlook/Visio, and fluent English.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with valid driver's license.
Associate degree in CAD/Drafting; 2+ years experience or 5 years equivalent.
Direct work experience in CAD drafting capacity.
Mastery of AutoCAD Electrical; MicroStation and EPlan a plus.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/Visio).
Fluent in English (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

Prepare complete detail drawing packages from rough drafts or sketches for engineering teams.
Create layouts, control panel drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Develop and maintain I/O tables, equipment datasheets, and BOMs.
Coordinate with project leads, vendors, and clients for design alignment.
Assist in project coordination meetings and prefabrication readiness.
Ensure accuracy through revisions tracking and file organization.
