The role is hybrid, offering collaboration with Claims and opportunities for strategic litigation leadership while ensuring ethical, compliant practice and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar license.
• Minimum of 7 years of civil litigation experience in commercial auto and general liability defense, with significant first-chair trial experience.
• Deep understanding of Florida civil procedure, insurance defense strategy, and ability to handle bodily injury matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of moderately complex auto and general liability defense matters in Florida.
• Lead defense strategy, trial preparation, and client service to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery; argue substantive motions.
• Collaborate with Claims on strategy, settlement objectives, and service levels.
• Provide clear communication to clients and claims professionals and participate in continuing legal education.
