Job summary

Venerable is offering an Internal Audit & Advisory Internship for Summer 2027. You will support enterprise processes, testing capabilities, and gain exposure to risk and controls within variable annuity products and derivatives.

You'll perform guided control testing, analyze data with Excel and Python, build reports in PowerBI, and present findings to the Head of Internal Audit & Advisory. Hybrid in-office schedule near West Chester, PA; housing not provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform guided internal control testing and assessment of exceptions.
• Use data analysis tools to summarize data extracts and interpret trends for audit and risk tests.
• Use data visualization tools to build reports and interactive tools to understand market risks in variable annuity products and derivatives.
• Develop and present memorandums to summarize analysis and results for audiences including the Head of Internal Audit & Advisory.
• Build and maintain documentation on processes.
• Assist with quantitative analysis and audit projects, improving processes and analytics.
