Job summary

BigIron seeks an Auction Operations Manager to lead the auction operations team, oversee day-to-day processes, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance across internal systems. This hybrid role is based in Omaha, NE, with weekly travel to Saint Edward and occasional trips to other US locations as needed.

You will coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Lenders, Buyers, and Sellers to keep listings moving on schedule, monitor metrics, and support staff training and development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Agriculture knowledge strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience in operations, customer service, or related roles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the daily activities of the auction operations team.
• Monitor workflow and ensure tasks meet established timelines.
• Conduct lien searches using company systems and verify documentation.
• Review titles and supporting documentation prior to auction publication.
• Maintain records and update internal systems (HubSpot, etc.).
• Review auction listings for accuracy and completeness before publication.
• Approve and publish auction listings and lots per procedures.
• Provide support to sales, buyers, sellers and lenders with timely responses.
• Track departmental metrics and prepare performance reports.
• Ensure training is completed and provide coaching and development.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
• Research and resolve operational issues with confidentiality.
• Stay informed on applicable UCC regulations and company procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
