Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions in Southfield, MI is seeking an Associate Operations Business Analyst to support the Surety team. You will work hybrids, handling billing, reporting and compliance tasks while coordinating with Surety leaders, Legal, Underwriting and banking partners to enable efficient operations.

You will analyze business requirements, map system interdependencies, and assist in design and testing of moderately complex solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
• 1–3 years of related experience in Production or Operations, preferably in a Property and Casualty carrier.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and electronic underwriting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research, performs analysis, and assists with projects of varying size and magnitude.
• Assists with business requirements and understand interdependencies between systems (policy administration, claims, portal, etc.).
• Develops understanding of data flows to ensure compatibility of programming and data between systems.
• Supports automation projects and QA test plans.
• Coordinates training and develops reference guides and training material for new features.
• Provides support for lines of business, policy writing, billing and other applications as assigned.
• Keeps awareness of the different Business Units and Lines of Business under their responsibility.
