Job summary

CoStar Group in Arlington, VA is seeking an Associate Security Engineer. The role supports cybersecurity controls across endpoints, identities, cloud platforms, and applications, with hands-on learning in vulnerability management, endpoint security, threat detection, software security, and AI security.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Dec 2026 – Jun 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• At least 2 months of relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Ability to document findings and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across endpoints, identities, cloud platforms, applications, and business processes.
• Learn and reinforce security concepts while gaining hands-on experience in vulnerability management, endpoint security, threat detection and response, and AI/automation topics.
• Assist with deploying, supporting, and improving security technologies under guidance of senior engineers.
