Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls across endpoints, identities, cloud platforms, applications, and business processes.

You will learn and reinforce security concepts while gaining hands-on experience in vulnerability management, endpoint security, security tool integration, threat detection and response, software security, and AI security.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or comparable major.
• Expected graduation December 2026 - June 2027.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• At least 2 months of internship or co-op experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, operation, and improvement of security controls across endpoints, identities, cloud platforms, applications, and processes.
• Assist with vulnerability management, threat detection and response, and security tooling integration.
• Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and document findings.
