Job summary

New Leaf Energy, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Developer to join the Mid-Atlantic team. The role emphasizes identifying high-potential sites, researching leads, and coordinating with landowners to advance opportunities within a hybrid Lowell/Boston office setup.

The APD will document opportunities in Salesforce, prepare due diligence packages, and support project developers through the go-to-market process with strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2–5 years’ experience preferred.
• Solar sales or development experience preferred.
• IT skills – GIS tools, Microsoft Excel, Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead prospecting using GIS-based targeting to identify high-potential solar/storage sites.
• Document opportunities in Salesforce and create due diligence packages for review.
• Schedule initial landowner meetings and transition qualified opportunities to project developers.
• Develop cash flow models to assess cost/incentive changes and bid viability.
• Support continuous improvement and standard process development.
